Washington, DC - resident Bush’s Inauguration - January 18-22, 2005     (Tuesday – Saturday) (GNT) Did all the DC attractions plus the inauguration. My group had tickets so we go up close to the actual podium where everything happened.
 

 

Georgia Islands - February 4-5, 2005 (Friday – Saturday) (GNT )  Jekyll Island,

St. Simon Island, Sea Island, Okefenokee Swamp

Washington, DC - February 23-26, 2005    (Wednesday – Saturday) (GNT) Did all the DC attractions. 

Chattanooga, TN - March 2-4, 2005  (Wednesday – Friday)  (GNT) Etowah Indian Mounds, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Rock City. Ruby Falls, Lost Sea Cavern, Chickamauga Battlefield

Savannah, GA - March 10-11, 2005 (Thursday – Friday) (GNT) Tybee Island lighthouse, Fort Pulaski, River Street, Savannah River Queen river boat 

Washington, DC - March 14-18, 2005  (Tuesday – Friday) (GNT)  Mount Vernon and all the normal DC attractions. 

Charlotte, NC – Discovery Place - April 6, 2005   (GNT) A hands-on science activity center.

Greenville, SC -Croft Baptist Church – Joy Club - April 12, 2005 - Tuesday -  Ate at Tom's Ham House and went to Reedy River Falls area.

 

CRUISE – Panama Canal - J & J Tours - April 17 – May 1, 2005

Charleston, SC - May 14-18, 2005  (Monday - Thursday) (GNT) Yorktown and Fort Sumter and Charlestown Landing among all the normal things.

 

Gettysburg, Philadelphia, Penn. Dutch Country (FAM trip) June 20-24 , 2005    (Monday - Friday)  (GNT)  Private battlefield tour, Constitution Center,  Fulton Opera House to see the musical - “Carousel”.  Amish Country tour, ate at Good and Plenty- and also at Miller’s.  stopped on way back at Mt Airy, NC (like Mayberry – Andy Griffin was raised there). We had a pork chop sandwich at Snappy’s Dinner in downtown Mt. Airy.  

Charleston, SC - September 16-17, 2005    (Friday – Saturday) (GNT) SC Aquarium, 

Ghost Tour, Sandlapper tour boat for an eco-tour -went out to Morrison Island – kids got off boat to collect shells, Patriot’s Point, Magnolia Plantation

Chattanooga - November 3-4, 2005   (Thursday – Friday) (GNT)  TN Aquarium,

Cumberland Caverns

Myrtle Beach, SC - November 14-17, 2005   (Monday – Thursday) (GNT)  Christmas show at the Carolina Opry, Alabama Theater for the Christmas show, The Palace – The Radio City Music Hall Rockettes Christmas Show.
